How Broadsword became Doncaster Knights official signage and print partner.
Background
Doncaster Knights Rugby Club approached Broadsword after a strong recommendation from another existing client. The Knights were looking to review all of their print and signage around Castle Park stadium, they were experiencing an increasing amount of problems with the existing signage not being fit for purpose. This in turn was leading to an increase in replacement costs and was damaging to the club’s commercial professionalism. A more structured and streamlined process was requested in order to maximize all sponsorship and branding opportunities for the club.
Solution
Firstly we created a comprehensive stadium and advertising plan, giving every allocated sponsorship and branding site a unique reference code, which gave a true reflection of all of the opportunities available to the Knights commercial team. The second phase of the review was of all materials currently being used at each location within the ground. Following our review and recommendation each sponsorship and branding site were given specified sizes and materials, giving the Knights staff a seamless and much slicker process from start to finish. All installation and replacements were then managed and installed by Broadsword, this reduced the workload of the Knights internal staff and gave a higher standard of professionalism from start to finish. After only a matter of weeks we officially became the Doncaster Knights ‘Signage and Print Partner’ giving lasting results and an ever-growing relationship with the club.
